Moderator broncovet Posted June 17, 2015 Moderator Share Posted June 17, 2015 (edited) It was prescribed for me by my VA doc. It goes by the name GABAPENTIN. I did get some pain relief from it, especially nerve pain. It does have some side effects, tho. According to this site, neurotin and GABAPENTIN are the same thing: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Gabapentin I recommend you talk to your VA doc about it, and not order it online, but get it free instead through VA. My prescription for it says I should take it AT night, as it can cause blurry vision. Edited June 17, 2015 by broncovet ArNG11

ArNG11
I don't believe these are the same thing. unless you're talking about something along the lines of a metabolife line type of product.
HadIt.com Elder Buck52 Posted June 17, 2015 Author HadIt.com Elder Share Posted June 17, 2015 (edited) I did ask my VA Dr about it she said the VA recommends all physicians let the patients know they don't recommend any drug that has not been approved by the FDA...so obviously the Dr is against it.but if it works and helps with pain and no side effects...hey why not give it a try? although it is not been Approved by the FDA, However it does have FDA Approved IngredientsNo they are not the same. there different!click the link above in #3 post............Buck Edited June 17, 2015 by Buck52
