Moderator broncovet Posted November 4, 2015 Moderator Share Posted November 4, 2015 Wow. Criminals get off scott free by refusing to testify? Where are their co workers who knew about this? Why are they not issued a subpoena?
Content Curator/HadIt.com Elder Vync Posted November 4, 2015 Content Curator/HadIt.com Elder Share Posted November 4, 2015 Good question. Charges would not have been filed if they did not have enough evidence to convict. I assume/hope they have plenty of emails, financial records, vouchers, receipts, etc... to lock them up in Leavenworth prison so long that they cannot even remember their own name. TALON II FE
White collar crime DOES pay, they offer up new examples daily. Most of the top 10 largest thefts in world history were perpetrated by men who either never served a day in jail or served less then 2 years. Some of those were thefts in the billions! I don't believe in the mass releases from prison that Obama is forcing, but I do believe the justice system is corrupt and should be over hauled, like almost every other arm of our system. The only ones that get punished are the ones who were unfortunate enough to steal from the ones with the power to punish, otherwise, the grease palms and move on. Sad, but true.
