Neurological exam

Rate this question

Question

Does anyone have any recent experience with neurological exams, the 8 hour variety?  My VA MH therapist is referring me to neuro to get scheduled.  He's quite interested in finding out what, if any, may be the cause of the holes in my memory.  Hmmm, wonder if maybe they can tell me why I experience deja vue (all over again) so often.

Apparently I was confused, when he told me previously that he wanted to go through a depression DBQ during our next session, which was Feb 29th.

ArNG11,

I have no intention not keeping up with my treatments, considering the alternate reality being reduced health and/or death.

Slow=smooth=fast sure feels like even the glaciers are leaving me in the dust.

I hear you Andy, the process is much slower than we would like it to be.  Persistence and followthrough I believe are important, but I

admit  even as fortunate as I have been with my claims, time weighs heavily on me, and it has done more damage than I care to acknowledge.

Meaning no dis-respect, perhaps riding on top of the glaciers might give you the momentum to get to reach your goal faster?

Good idea, ArNG11, not only will riding on top of the glaciers give me some sun, but it will also let me see what's coming.  Better bring something to sit on, my luck,  I'll end up freezing fast, and then, losing my glutes to frostbite induced gangrene! Lol!

Got my appointment to see the sleep specialist, May 9th.

As for lost time related damage...15 years between successful claims is my burden to carry.  My life and my family's would have been dramatically different if I had found Hadit back in 2000.  I can barely stand the thoughts of what may have been, or what was, due to the VA's standard practice of deny till they die, or go away.  All the contentions left unspoken, left unclaimed...the weight of disappointment after disappointment heaped upon my head, from the one nearest and dearest, will never be overcome.

Success in the future will ease the load, but the long term effects are permanent.

Ease up Andy, just make sure you wax that board. : )

Cant change the past with could have, would have, and should have. Focus on the now, but the experience makes you wiser. There is gratification and some peace in that fact.
