Question

Made an appointment to see a VA doctor regarding PTSD symptoms I've been experiencing for years. Have not been diagnosed with PTSD,(I know I will be diagnosed based on the symptoms)  what should I expect at this initial appointment?

All comments/advice welcomed.

thanks

You seem sure that you have a provable stressor- do you have the CAR,CIB and or a PH on your

DD 214

or are you an incountry OEF veteran? If so you will fall under the 2010 PTSD regulations available here under a search.

simply "They(the US Army)have guns, but so do we."

Sameo to us -They (VA) have 38 CFR ,38 USC, and M21-1- but so do we.

Exactly what Berta said no stressor no diagnosis more than one stressor gets easy to prove point. If you throw a TBI in the mix or if you have another Mh diagnosed issue already they may just tie it with that... more details please?
