cd928
For those in the Dallas/Fort Worth area: Many may already know this but I thought I'd pass along. Parking is totally free at DFW airport if you have DV plates, or a number of other veteran plates. This is a huge money saver! https://www.dfwairport.com/parking/military/index.php

Moderator broncovet Posted October 26, 2017 Moderator Share Posted October 26, 2017 Thanks!!! I travel to Dallas often. Next time, I will carry my DV plates in my suitcase. Shure beats paying for parking. Thanks for helping a Vet.
HadIt.com Elder Buck52 Posted December 23, 2017 HadIt.com Elder Share Posted December 23, 2017 (edited) Veteran must go through the plaza gate entrance and pull a pay slip, & when you return to the exit gates go though the cash gates and the attendant will look at your plates and waive the parking fee. if you have a Toll Tag do NOT use it they will add the parking fee to your toll tag. (3 days is $$ 72 bucks) although you can use your toll tag but you need to call ahead 3 days prior (48 hrs) before driving out to the DF/W Airport. let them know your using the toll tag for the parking exemption. broncovet if you carry your plates in your suitcase that will not do it!!... if you put those plates on another vehicle? The Vehicle must be registered by the Veteran,,,its ok to drive in from out of state but the Vehicle must be registered by the veteran with disabled plates from his resident state.
