'Appeal Possible' Option On Ebennie

Rate this question

Question

Has anyone else ever had an appeal move to the historical section and be closed out with a decision letter sent but not have the appeal possible option too? I just had a DRO appeal close but there's no appeal possible option.  Every time I have had a decision letter sent before on a claim it said appeal possible along with it. I'm hoping this might mean a full grant. I know it is still possible to appeal a full grant decision but it's strange that every claim before had it say 'decision letter sent, appeal possible'.

Thanks for sharing your guy's thoughts on this.

Well, ebenefits is unreliable, at best, so it is what it is, and a guessing game will be about as good as a coin toss.

However, if it gives you hope of a quick successful resolution, then go with that.  You will find out soon enough if that is "false hope" or not.

EXCEPTION:   While ebenefits is unreliable, you can pretty much  count on ONE thing.  If they have an AB8 letter that says you are 100 percent P and T, that is usually correct, because VA doesnt like to hand out those letters to people who are not 100 percent P and T...I think you can imagine the chaos that would cause.
