Ebenefits Down Today?

Is there scheduled maintenance on Ebenefits today? I tried to log in and it said it was been updated and would be ready for me to view soon. Is it just my ebenefits that is broke or is it the whole website?

I get the same thing, that ebenefits is down today.  Typical.  Ebenefits is unreliable.  

This is a problem with nepotism.   They give out contracts to friends..and even when they are not competent, they keep their contract.  

You could/should consider writing to the VAOIG and complain that the ebenefits site is down far too often and, even when its up, its well known to be unreliable.  Vets should be able to count on what it says, and the VA held accountable that ebenefits is updated and accurate.  Obvioulsy, IT (computer) contracts are given out based on nepotism, and not on the quality of their work.

I have no idea who or how ebennie even runs or works. I have gone into my RO multiple times complaining about them not keeping it updated. I don't know if it is a RO that updates it or someone in a call center in Pakistan. Whoever does it is really bad at what they do.

Many Vets advocates recommend "not checking" ebenefits as it is unreliable and a source of frustration, rather than a source of information.
