What happened to my Dependent award>

This morning, I checked ebenefits and it was still at waiting for decision approval. I just checked it again and now it says, "Prep for notification." So I decided to check

my awards and it stayed the same at 90 percent with the award date of 2015. I then checked my dependent award and it has disappeared. It now lists my dependent but it said, "dependent not on award" where they use to be on it. So my question is, did I get denied? Awarded but ebennies not updated yet, and what happened to my dependents? I'm confused. Can anyone shed a light on this?

I respond to ebenfits questions with the same "enthusiasm" that I would give to the opinion of my next door neighbor, who happens to be 5 years old.  

Take what ebenefits says with a grain of salt, dont count on anything and wait for the real decision.  Many volunteers, like myself, dont usually respond to "How long does it take VA to **________________?"

And, I dont usually specualte on what some unreliable ebenefit clerk had in mind when they changed the status of ebenefits.  

At least one well known Vets advocate recommends not checking ebenefits.  

So, there you have it.  Toss a coin in the air. 

If its heads, it probably means ebenefits is wrong.  

If its tails, it probably means ebenefits is really wrong. 

If the coin lands on edge, then there is a 4 percent chance ebenefits is correct.

Glad you asked this question Fourpaws because the same thing happened to me this week and it freaked me out. Dependents suddenly vanished from my award at the PFN stage and stayed gone for about two days or so.

However, my claim was marked complete two days later, and my dependents reappeared on my award. I'm guessing that Ebenefits was simply being updated by whomever to reflect my increased %. 

Was your claim ever completed Fourpaws, or it still bouncing back and forth? Hope everything worked out in your favor!

I should have read this before I posted my most recent question. LOL!!!!!!
