I have never asked about regular disabled Vets. Also, Sad to Say my Friend, but you know that when it comes to the Govt, there is always a Catch. 0 Richard1954 Posted January 18, 2019 Share Posted January 18, 2019 They did not extend the benefit to spouses of veterans rated 100% or TDIU this is one benefit that only the veteran gets.... I am retired so, my spouse can travel space A with me and when my children were young they could fly as well. I am not a lawyer so take my opinions with a grain of salt... If I had listened to the nay sayers, I would never have acheived any ratings after I was awarded TDIU in 1999. Now I have not one but two 100% ratings, a TDIU and 4 SMC awards !
