What is the current situation with AO and High Blood Pressure?  Is HBP presumptive now for AO exposure?  Too early to file a claim?

The NAM (IOM) report is still sitting on Sec. Wilkie's desk.

I recently got a letter from VACO- there are no new presumptive -yet-

There might never be unless vets start asking the Secretary to consider the list- posted here quite some time ago- that HBP is on.

The letter I got was a reply to a letter I had sent to POTUS and to Sec Shulkin-

I felt I had made a strong case for ischemic stroke of the veteran already had AO IHD.

Also that same medical info would go for any Vietnam vet who has HBP as a consequence of  AO IHD.Even if the HBP diagnosis preceeded the IHD.

If I get time I will re do the letter and send to Sec. Wilkie.

The Blue Water Navy issue ( and the news that came out yesterday) is what I believe is holding up any decision on any new AO presumptives.
