Blue Water Navy Agent Orange decision

Just got this today. The DOJ has notified Congress that the VA is dropping any appeals to the court decision on the Bllue Water Navy Agent Orange fiasco. If this isn't a success story, I don't know one:

Right- it needs Senate approval- you can contact your Senators via the VA Web site- and urge them to pass this bill ( HR 299)

Now is the time for Blue Water veterans to check those co -ordinates  in the bill and find any past denials they might have received.Many BWN 's might also want to check the VA's AO ship list as well- 

I  feel there is not enough national news on these issues but maybe when this Bill is signed into law- the media will pick it up.

 

"HR 299, the Blue Water Navy bill states:

Determination of offshore
Notwithstanding any other provision of law, for purposes of this section, the Secretary shall treat a location as being offshore of Vietnam if the location is not more than 12 nautical miles seaward of a line commencing on the southwestern demarcation line of the waters of Vietnam and Cambodia and intersecting the following points:
