Retro/Back pay timeline

Just wondering if anyone knows what the timeline is to receive back pay?

There are so many things that go into this, it can be a crapshoot

Mine from the BVA was 8 months.  Had to get a congressman involved.  But from what I see people talking about 4-6 months is normal.  If it is just a normal claim it can be much quicker

It depends on the amount and how many signatures are needed to authorize.

Thanks for the feedback. Makes sense. My first claim for my PTSD 50% was approved  8/16/2019 and I received over 10 grand back pay on 8/30/1019. The latest  one closed on Friday 4/10/2020 sleep apnea secondary to PTSD  should be a little over 5 grand. I guess just have to wait and see.

Those amounts should'nt be that long. When I was SC for apnea my backpay was around that and I had it in a few weeks.
