HadIt.com Elder john999 Posted June 9, 2021 HadIt.com Elder Share Posted June 9, 2021 Ham When I had just 30% VSO warned me not to make more claims because the VA would likely reduce me. I have been TDIU P&T for 20 years. I have made many claims during those twenty years. If you have the evidence and you think it is worth the effort then claim it. I had 90% and my DMII got worse. I claimed an increase. I thought I might get 40% instead of 20%. VA added an extra 40% for each arm and 40% for each leg due to PN. That got me to 100% schedular. If I had not claimed the increase I would never have got there in a million years. If you are 90% you need another 50% to get to 100%. That is a big number. Now if I deserve any SMC's in the future I am going to claim them. Carl the Engineer and Buck52
HadIt.com Elder Buck52 Posted June 9, 2021 HadIt.com Elder Share Posted June 9, 2021 (edited) I think it should be up to the veteran if he is 100% p&t and has more disability's he can get service connected why not? it could prove to be a wise decision later on down the road. for one thing it will make it much harder on the VA to reduce our benefits below 100% Edited June 9, 2021 by Buck52 Carl the Engineer
