Question

Broken soldier you're correct again. I checked benefits and the verification letter shows me receiving pay at the 100% rate. What does all of this mean, what other benefits go along with this decision? I want to thank all of the great people here, none of this would have happened without the advice and information that I received here. I got my denial letter less than a year ago. I followed the advice of the people here,  which I recommend to everyone I talk to. Thanks everyone!!!!!!

You can check with your state for state benefits but here is a form that should come in your packet. Also your packet will explain more. If you are just TDIU and not P & T then it is the 100% compensation pay.

My intentions are to help, my advice maybe wrong, be your own advocate and know what is in your C-File and the 38 CFR that governs your disabilities and conditions.

Do your own homework. No one knows the veteran’s symptoms like the veteran. Never Give Up.

I do not give my consent for anyone to view my personal VA records.

It depends- if you are P and T you will have access to champVA and Chap 35 for dependents. State benefits are a whole 'nother mixed bag. Many states offer reduced/no tuition for dependents of 100% P/T veterans- but its the permanence that makes the difference, not the 100% (or equivalent) part. Sometimes with the schools you have ask financial aid specifically. With my son's school they didn't list it as a FinAid option because they had so many disabled vets of lower percentages applying for it/asking about it and sometimes getting surly with the FinAid staff.

The Earth is degenerating these days. Bribery and corruption abound.Children no longer mind their parents, every man wants to write a book, and it is evident that the end of the world is fast approaching. --17 different possible sources, all lacking verifiable attribution.

(I AM NOT A RATER- I work the claims BEFORE they are rated, annotating medical evidence in your records, VA and Legal documents,  and DA/DD forms- basically a paralegal/vso/etc except that I also evaluate your records based on Caluza and try to justify and schedule the exams that you go to based on whether or not your records have enough in them to warrant those)
