Question

Board of Appeals:  Direct Review docket- what month are they on? I know they review appeals based on the docket of the month the appeal was started. It is possible to find out what month they are on at the Board of appeals to try and judge to see how long my appeal will take to be reviewed?

Hi Owen99 Welcome to Hadit. If you are in the direct lane, they are saying 365 days. Much longer if you are in the other two lanes. Of course, if you meet the criteria for advancing in the docket, say for threat of homelessness or 75 years old, it can get moved up quite a bit. I had mine done recently start to finish in under 2 months.

Owen99    AMA appeals are almost on hold per Hill& Ponton and CC&K at the meeting that was held in Washington DC the first week in October. According to the BVA direct review docket is well over a year to two years, evidence docket is well over two years and the video docket is over four years. Well come to the VA.
