Our Mission

Providing a community for veterans to learn, help and support other veterans in pursuing a successful grant of VA Disability Compensation for a Service-Connected Disability.

How It Works

Veterans post their questions about their claim or disability. Other veterans who have had experience with that kind of claim or those who study these types of claims jump in and answer your questions, point you in the right direction, or offer emotional support.

The community, from time to time, goes through rough patches. After 25 years, we have gone through many different distractions from our mission.

Today there are many veterans communities, including Social Media such as Facebook. On Facebook, posts can go in many directions. That is fine for Facebook, but not on HadIt.com.

Every community sets its own rules and guidelines. If you don't like another site, do not come to our site to complain about it, your post will be removed, and you will be warned.

If you want to discuss politics or religion, we are not the site for you.

We are not for everyone, but we have been around for 25 years following these guidelines. So we are doing something right.

HadIt.com is not Social Media. It is a community of like-minded veterans who need help with their VA Disability Claim or Benefit question or veterans who want to help research and provide answers based on their own experience with that type of claim. Veterans also offer each other support because the process is challenging, and we all need support.

We are just veterans like you. We are not lawyers or agents, or any other official.

When you join the community, you are responsible for behaving according to community guidelines. Full stop.

If you find the guidelines too restrictive or disagree with them, then we are not the community for you. Full stop.

Just wanted to tag on a little. It's ok if your experience or opinion doesn't match up with a previous posting; just state your position and why it works for you. In other words, be polite and respectful. We must realize that often, there is more than one effective way to deal with VA issues. We don't have to start WW III because of a disagreement. If things get a little too hot, we will also shut it down, and people for the most part want answers to their problems, not negative stuff.
