BVA decision question

Question

I recently had  BVA hearing a couple of months ago. After the hearing, I was allowed to upload DBQ and a Nexus letter. According to the DBQ, my range of motion is in the 20 percent range. Does it go back to the RO or can the judge grant the 20 percent?

It would be sent back to the RO to finalize almost always. It could include specific details for the RO follow. If the award is a low ball, you appeal either HLR or back to the BVA.

Thank you. That's what I kinda figured but was unsure.

Is that another long process? It is a legacy claim that I have been dealing with since 2017
