Question

After filing for an increase in Meniers from 30% to 100%, i was approved for 100%. When i obtained my decision, I was granted 100% from the time my doctors dbq/nexus was submitted to the day the PA (PHYSICIAN ASSISTANT) c&p saw me. So, for that short time, i was granted 100% and it was taken away from a lesser medical profession and not a specialist either. So, for obvious reasons, i filed a bva direct review and was approved for a hardship claim. This was submitted January 11 2022. my docket # is 220111-210676. After checking bva decisions, there are hundreds of claims submitted AFTER mine that have been completed. example. 220111-213432, filed on the same day, hundreds after mine, and still reviewed and decided before mine ANy idea as to why this happens and or what can be taking much longer? PS, i know average is a year.

Hello,

As someone stated previously, BVA pretty much do whatever they want to instead following sop's that were put into place. In most professions, sop's is an inspectable item and must be followed but in this case it isn't and nothing is being done about it.

Trust me, I do understand all of your frustrations, I am right there with you. My claim was in 2018. I appealed late 2018. Nothing until April 2022 and that's when I had my BVA hearing. It's September, I haven't heard anything as of today.

Wow! If you don’t mind me asking, what were you appealing?

I am appealing cervical and lumbar.

In my opinion, I should have been service connected when I had gotten out of the military being that I had an event or injury while in service, had a diagnosis then and now I have multiple diagnosis. We all know that military docs don't write nexus.

Now after military I filed for my neck and back, now I need a nexus. I am just so lost on this VA mess.
