Where is the VA in all this???  What about all those homeless programs that failed Vets?

Many homeless Veterans "would not be homeless" if VA did not take years to deliver benefits..how do I know?

The VA did it to me, making me homeless for a short time.

The VA is there, in no small part, to help prevent Veteran homelessness.  Or, that is what a few VASEC's have told us.  (Shinseki, for example, promised to end Veterans homelessness).

At least for me, the VA did more to CAUSE homelessness, by delaying my claim for 4 years.  When I finally did get benefits, it was too little too late.   It seems to me either that:

1.  VA did not care if I was homeless or

2.  They did not connect the dots, that, when I was unemployed seeking benefits, these delays meant I had no way to keep my home.  Keeping one's home requires an income.  I did not have an income.

If the VA isnt there for the Veteran to prevent homelessness, then who's job is it?

Then I misunderstood your post as to why the VA would be involved in a local 1st Amendment issue. The veteran in the article is not homeless.

broncovet I would love to see the video. The problem is it takes you to a FOX News story about Black Powder coffee.
