Here's what the letter says: Medical Description......Old Percentage.....New Percentage.....Effective Date Residuals of thyroidectomy......10%..............100%..........Aug. 28, 2003 for thyroid cancer Sleep Apnea.............................................50%..........Aug 28, 2003 Eligible . . . . under 38 USC Ch.35 This is considered a full grant of benefits sought on appeal and no further action will be taken. I went from 10 percent to 100 and I received 28 months back pay and my check was about 75,000. Again CONGRATULATIONS! and GOD BLESS YOU AND YOUR FAMILY!
