carlie
Yes i do Angelo, What are the combat awards you have for middle east tours ? Thanks, carlie
HadIt.com Elder john999 Posted August 25, 2009 HadIt.com Elder Share Posted August 25, 2009 If you have combat awards the VA will concede your stressors. You don't have to prove that such and such event happened on a certain date. Usually, if you don't have combat awards then you have a greater burden to verify stressors. Angelo Hurtado
I have the iraq campaign medal and a unit accomedation where the write up is for missions complete in iraq...but my stressor has nothing to do with my tours, i never had an issue with ptsd when i was with the teams, the dr found that i never had a problem with it until i was in my accident which almost took my life..which is heavily documented because it was the reason i got discharged

Maybe someone else will chime in on the Unit Accomendation. jmho, carlie

sharon
The combat medals are approved by congress not the VA. In time they will add more medals. Contact your congressman and make a request.
