Question About My Father.

Question

Can my award payment be increased because of my father.He gets social security,so I'm sure I can't.What are the requirements for claiming your parents,thanks.

I am not sure how you would add your father as one of your dependents unless he is living with you?
then if you make him your dependent, Iam not sure what the VA will do if he is on SSDI/OR SS Retirement?

You should be entitled to more va compensation!

Contact Iris ask what you need to do to add your Father as your Dependent!

Not sure either, but pretty sure others here might be able to help. I believe you would have to have documented proof that you are providing more than 50% of his living expenses aside from what he gets from SS.

I think your Father can be added as one of your dependents, I am not sure what the form is to apply?

Parents can be added if you supply at least a major part of their support and live with you
