I.u.
I was wondering what form(s) I would have to file in order to have my I.U. rated to see if I was P & T? I have a new doctor, since I moved, and I don't know how willing or unwilling he is to write his opinions. My I.U. was granted 7 months ago and I have an exam in about 2 years. I figure I could wait until then. I have continued to be on the medication that granted me 60%, in fact, since my exam in January, I have been on it more than I ever have. Just curious. All opinions welcomed. thank you.

I.u. Question Help>?
hello all , i'm new to the board and thank heaven there's such a site. i'm currently at 50% and applied for IU. i submitted documentation that shows living below the poverty level since 1996. i've not worked even half time since 1999. i submitted statements from previous employers that say i'm not employable. my question is: if i submit an appeal within one year and can get my outside physician to submit medical documentation that i am unemployable and even write that i'm unemployable will this help my claim tremendously. or is this a waste of time? i was denied an increase to when i was 20% for so long and finaly after getting a second opinion did VA …

ptsd P & T Question
I have a question regarding having a disability declared permanent. Does the veteran need to be unemployable? If the veteran has a schedular rating, does the disability to be rated permanent need to be 100%? My husband is rated 60% for the residuals of a pituitary operation where the gland was removed. This is a permanent condition, as are the residuals. Can we petition for that part of his ratings to be declared permanent, therefore not subject to reduction? Also, can the veteran's age (56) be reasonable grounds to petition for his disabilities to be declared permanent? He is not rated for PTSD, so that's not a factor. Is the request routed through the VARO?…
