carlie
Who are we to judge and knock other veteran's claims for benefits ? If we personally had the problems we might file for it. There are almost 500 claims at the BVA that involve ingrown toenails. Many have already been SC'd at zero percent. I try to NOT judge a vet by their disability but concentrate on the medical evidence and the regulations that support service connection for their conditions. jmho, carlie http://www.va.gov/vetapp06/files5/0633754.txt As there is no specific Diagnostic Code for ingrown toenails, the RO has rated the veteran's service-connected post operative ingrown toenail, left great toe, as noncompensable under 38 C.F.R. § 4.71, Diagnostic Code 5282 for hammer toe. Service connection for ingrown toenail of the right great toe is warranted. Edited June 21, 2009 by carlie
Notorious Kelly
What kinda bugs me on these boards is one veteran judging another as if they hold the purse strings, when all of our claims combined are a grain of sand on the beach of government waste. Please concentrate on helping others instead of evaluating their worthiness for compensation. Any energy we expend 'fighting each other' is better spent against the enemy. And thank you for your service!
