carlie
Its a must my rater see everything in my PTSD submitted packet. We all feel the same way - that doesn't mean though that it will happen. I know the C&P Dr has nothing. How can I make sure the packet is reviewed Unless there is "nothing" in your file then perhaps the C&P examiner will have something to review. There is no way for you to "make sure the packet is reviewed". You - are at their mercy. jmho, carlie

This is only my opinion. carlie
HadIt.com Elder Pete53 Posted August 21, 2009 HadIt.com Elder Share Posted August 21, 2009 Look calm down you are jumping like a frog in a hot skillet. My advise as hard as it is to throttle down and wait for the VARO to develop your case. See what they propose. I am willing to guess that you are going to do better than you can imagine. In other words do research on your claim, get help from the Medical side and wait till they make a decision. In answer to your question you can request a hearing from the VARO and meet with your rater. If it was me I would wait for a decision.

HadIt.com Elder john999 Posted August 21, 2009 HadIt.com Elder Share Posted August 21, 2009 Your main objective now is to show up for the exam on time. That is all that should be in your mind for now. Then get a copy of the exam later. It usually takes a few weeks. The rater is going to look at you as you are now. She is going to go over your history a bit. She will probably ask you a few questions about your medical history and she may verify that you are a RVN combat vet is she even knows the difference between a grunt and a truck driver. I bet the exam is over in 20 minutes if it lasts that long. They get paid by the patient. Just do as Pete is saying and as Carlie is saying. If the doctor starts to talk about your history before the military just tell her everything was fine before and bad afterwards.
