He's already gone through the court system, however, here in Oregon we did pass a bill that DAs and Judges can take into consideration the veteran's mental/health status in reducing the charges, etc. I do not know if his court and sentencing was before or after this legislation. I will have to ask his attorney (my friend) on that one; and pass along a few good points made by Chuck.
