  1. I wanted to say thank you to everyone on this board who has help me over the last 3 years. I checked my claim this morning and I saw that I was 100% and I didn't believe it at first but after checking my letter I saw it was real. This has been a long uphill fight but every single person on here told me not to give up and keep going and that's what I did. Again I just wanted to say thank you and I wish everyone the best in their pursuit of the rating the really deserve.

  2. Recently I posted a question about receiving a records review only from VES. Today I received a call from VES stating that my exam will be a phone call instead of just a records review. In speaking to the VES agent she asked me to fax a copy of my sleep study, the prescription for the CPAP and a copy of the IMO over to the Dr. that's going to be calling me. Is it common for the VA not to send documentation over to the contractors, because I don't understand how the VA can set you up for a C&P with an outside entity and not give them the paperwork that I sent them.

  3. Hi Everyone

I recently submitted a claim for OSA secondary to PTSD, i logged in to the VES website and it says that my exam is this Friday which is the 24th. They are saying that my exam is a records review only no in person or virtual is required for the exam. I wanted to know does the VA send the contract examiner copies of my IMO, sleep study and prescription for my CPAP. I've never had a C&P like this before and I wanted to get some insight on what to expect.

  4. Hi Whodat

After the VA C&P examiner denied me I filed another HLR with more evidence. I had another IMO written up and Case law to go along with it. I filed this in December and I had my C&P on Dec 28th and I got my results back on Feb 4th 2022, they granted me 30% SC. It has taken me almost 2 years of back and forth with the VA but i didn't get give up so everyone out there keep your head up and just remember, those not service connected  will soon turn into service connected.

  5. Hi Everyone

I recently had a C&P exam scheduled by QTC for migraines as secondary to PTSD. I got my packet in the mail and went to the appointment, but upon arriving I noticed that the building sign said IA Health Link. So I go in and check in to my appointment, the Nurse Practitioner brings me to the back and starts asking me the questions off the DQB. The entire process takes about 5 minutes and then I'm done, when she's finished she says thank you for your service and I'll be forwarding my results over to QTC and QTC will forward the finding over to the VA. This is the question that I wanted to know, has anyone every had an appointment that was scheduled with QTC but it's really was with a private Nurse Practitioner who is doing the exam for QTC, I just have never had this before and I was curious.

  6. Hi Everyone

I recently had a C&P exam on the 9th of July, the examiner told me that it would take 30 days for her to do her research and come to a decision about my claim. So the 9th of September was the 30 day mark and the case is still open as of today. I checked my blue button records and she actually made a decision on my claim the same day she said it's less likely than not. So my question is has any one seen results take this long and why would she lie to me and say it's going to take 30 days for her to find results and she made a decision the same day.

  7. Hi Everyone

I had a C&P back in Dec for my migraine condition and I was denied and the examiner said the condition was less likely than not related to my car accident. So I filed a HLR and the VA gave me another C&P and I just looked in my blue button records and the C&P examiner this time said that my condition was not at least as likely as not related to my car accident. Can someone explain the difference to me because they sound like they are saying the same thing and thanks in advance.
