Thanks for the replys everybody...I went to talk to my county va office and they sent in a form P.O.A. via american legion explaining why i am not required to do taxes.H etold me thats all it should take to make them not take it away. I am divorced for the other person who asked so i live alone with my 7 year old daughter.

Maybe I did not explain this correctly im sorry if i did not. I recieved the letter back in july to send in my Vcaa letter I think its called But they also wanted a copy of my last years tax returnes I assuming to prove i did not work. Well I did not do my taxes cause i didnt work. I never read that they wanted a copy of my taxes cause it was printed on the back of a page i didnt see. Until today when i got decision letter they are taking away my iu and dropping me back to 80% effective october 1st 2010 cause i did not send a copy of my last years income taxes to them. Now I dont know if I just send them into them they will reenstate it or not. Anybody heard of this before? Its kinda my mistake cause i should have seen that they wanted them.

The letter states i was supposed to send in a copy of my income taxes. i never seen that it wan on the back of a page i never read. I sent in my VC form for not owrking but never sent in a copy of my income tax returns cause i never did them. I guess all i can do is have them donr and send them in but its stupid to do taxes when i never worked. Im not sure what else to do. I will call my County vetrans service officer tommorrow....

Got letter Im losing my Tdiu for not sending in my taxes for last year. I sent in my No work form but still bieng taken away cause i never send in copy of taxes. I never did my taxes cause i have no incomer bsides va disability. Not sure what to do now...

Yes I live in the country many hours away froma V A Hospital. We have a clinic in town but they were closed. what is the Fee-Basis office number any body know? Much appreciated all the info.

Quick fix to last post I have not recieved information from the vha or champVa for spouse and child as of yet.

Thanks to all who have posted. im talking about i think its Vha? The medical insurance I am gatting. I have a card from the Va but I have recieved any information about where I can and cant go. My wife filled out the champVa for herself and my daughter. And we are still waiting for a response. We will probably call them tommororw. I would have sooner but I hurt my back yesterday and had to go to the local E.R. And was wondering if this will be paid by them or not. Yes I am 100%iu p&t thanks again.

I am 100% iu and have not recieve any information on insurance I will be getting. I know my wife will get champva but what do I recieve? thanks.

I did not get 70% for my feet. I am at 50% for feet. But I am totally 100% counting other issues that are caused by my feet. Ankles,knees,back. I officially files for ssdi and have a phone meeting in may. Thanks for you help.

Well this is a all new ball game for me I know nothing of getting SSDI. So I file online right? Anything else I should know? Also I dont see my specific problem on the ssdi disability page how do I go about proving this mt old Va Files and statments? Thanks alot for the responses and god bless you all.

Point taken. i have been done working for approximatly 5 mos. Ive been told that a minimum of 6 mos must pass before you can apply for ssdi?

No I am not working and have not been for a while. I was told filing for iu you need a total of at least 60 or 70%. which Ii have. As for location im out of the twin cities and have had good luck with them thus far and they seem to be very quick. I wanted to wait for a decision from the va before I decided to try for ssdi. I have many doctor statments explaining all my treatments I have had and he has explained my problems and that I cannot work where I walk or stand for any period my back,hips is a huge problem when it comes to sitting. His statments was part of the decision I won 70%. So I have confidence in his statment. Will they look at all my old evidence from the prior decision also with my new evidence for iu? thanks again for your advice.

My feet were not rated 70% they were 30% but nexus to other parts like knees,hips,back etc total is 70%. the feet cause the other parts to have problems and are included in the vs decision. I files not only for my feet but knees,back etc.

yes they sent me the tdiu form and I when I won the 70% they asked me if I wanted to apply for tdiu in the decision letter and yes the doc did everything he was supposed i have benn seeing this doctor the whole time alon with the va docs. He is a orthapedic surgen abd foot/ankle specialist so and and I know him well and he has been very helpful. Thank you for the reply

Currently getting 70% for Flat feet 30%,Ankle 10%,knees and back another 20% etc. Filed Iu in december 08 had physical C&p in feb 09. Sent letter from private doctor saying I am unable to obttain gainful employment and reasons from my service connested disabilities. Statments from me and wife and last superviser ihad and co-workers of my problems at work. Letter from physical therapist about treatments and prescribing me with a walking cane. having alot of problems with these and cannot walk hardly any distance anymore. Hoping I get Iu waiting about 2 mos now for decision letter. Anybody have an idea what my chances are it would be much appreciated thank you...

Got the brown envelope today.Im so happy. was 10% for many years and finally got 70% 30% for pes planus 20% achilles tendonitis and kneee strain all bilateral. And 10% lumbar strain. Im also pending a very possible 50% for pes planus from orthapedic shoes not working which would put me at 90%. Its been a long and painful battle. I just say dont lose hope pray and pray and get all statments and info you can and it will pay off. Thank you all for your info and advice and god bless!

Sc'ed for bilateral pes planus. in the procces of eval for feet and Trying to get nexus for ankles and have dr notes xrays etc. Anyways was going to try to get nexus for knees and back also from pes planus. But I have no condition in my back and knees besides pain and maybe some tendonitis and possible arthritis but no evidence. Went to see a doctor about knees and back but back really shows no problem but occasional pain. But my knees I get pain just below kneecap was told tendinitis. My question is is it worth for me to file a claim for knees and back or should I withdraw my claims because I have already started the claim proccess. I really see no point in continueing these claims for my knees and back just wanting some advice either way thanks.

Also he's board certified and a member of the board of podiatric surgery (does his own surgeries). Foot and ankle clinic. Ima lso seeing another podiatrist monday at a local hospital for a second opinion. Also Im just wondering my vso said the docs statment is good enough but im hesitant to totally believe him and wondering if i should have a more detailed description in my next doc statement. because my 2 doc statments i have already are strong statements but short and to the point with no real details. All I know is from x-rays and it showed some arthritis. But I have not had any other tests yet for arthritis. I am going back up to another c&p next wed for my knees and lower back and ankles.

I already am Sc'ed for severe bilateral pes planus 10% but getting re-eveluated by VA for a raise in comp. but my last doc visit he stated this in his statment can this be sc'ed secondary to pes planus? Its concerning I have lttle to no movment (rolling left or right) in my ankles bilaterally whatsoever. Thx.
