  7. sorry , got there they told me the docter was in west haven ct . i was at newington and that it would be done via teleconference. they put me in a small room with a computer and small screen . and said the doc would call in a few minutes. he called in and the person that showed me in left and shut the door . i told the doc i did not like this he said it was normal it saced in travel for them and they had a big case load. he said if he looked off screen it was just to look at my file . i hated it cause he looked off screen alot . no way to tell if we were really private . he said they were going to do more ptsd exams like that. it just made me nervous. i talked pretty fast. they also gave me a pen and paper to make notes
  8. thanks alot i have posted else where on the forum and everyone is a great help . i never relized it would be this hard. . you think i have the symptoms how could they say no , but they do anyway . it can wear you out . thanks again

  10. talked to my rep . he said bva was on claims filled in2010 .i filled to bva in 2011 july. he said we have a strong case for the arthritis . get blood work done this week to check the arthritis , ibs connection then i should have enough to reopen my ibs claim
  11. talked to my rep . he said bva was on claims filled in2010 .i filled to bva in 2011 july. he said we have a strong case for the arthritis . get blood work done this week to check the arthritis , ibs connection then i should have enough to reopen my ibs claim
  12. had the review . it was via the computer. first time on that one . did not take that long. he said it looks like i have been haveing a rough time as of late. that this was a normal review that i had beed diagnosed with ptsd and it had been a year and a half since my last c- p. he would do the report and send it up . my service rep said it would be a few months to get the results.he was going to file for am increase .
  13. yes i was in theater. i have filled claims before but the docters are tough . no one wanted to tie the pieces together. said you are young to have these issues deal with the symptoms not the how. then when you mention the v.a. they all get freaked out.am going to a new docter that said the intestinal issues might tie in with the arthritis . so it is a step in the right direction
  14. have a ptsd c-p exam tomorrow .i already am 10percent and they said this is a yearly review. my service rep said to make notes on what is going on how i am feeling and bring that with me to the exam . he said this would better explain my position and help me not to get tied up in there question
  15. told her of my service in the gulf. said i have too many things going on at once.she asked what other doctors had said . i told her they deal with the symptoms not the whole .so get my x-rays together and get the b;lood done next week

  22. Talked to my service rep. he said i need a more likely than not saying that the diveticulitis was caused by being in the gulf war .just having symptoms is not enough .even though the ibs is a presumptive i need a letter saying it was a result of the gulf war .i have not found a doctor willing to do that .still working on it .
