I just went 5 days without my clonazepam (my happy pill) that I take three times a day. I was going nutso, called the pharmacy at the VAMC twice in those 5 days bitching them out. I am getting a civillian script for these and getting them at CVS from now on.

Congradulations, you finally got the message that the VA has been sending.

I'm extremely fortunate that my wife is able to buy health insurance where she works. The VA doesn't even try to supply the prescriptions that I have to take.

My private sector bills for the last 12 months were over 190,000 bucks.

Of that I only got stuck with about 12 thousand.

From a grateful nation.

Your taxes at work.

Our veterans get the best medical care.

Satisfaction with the VA health care system is always higher that the private sector.

Special attention Pete.

I wrote last month about the problem renewing and getting my pain Methadone in a timely manner in the mail. After another visit to the doc, she admitted it was her fault. Her remedy-she precribed a double dose for each month, so I won't run out. Go figure.

Jon

How refreshing that a VA MD would confess that it was her fault and offer a solution. In effect I have the same solution for xanax. They give me more than I need and I have reserves.
