Ssdi Award Letter

Question

Thanks to all you on this board for telling me to file ssdi. I just got my award letter and it does not say on it what I am disabled for. I filed 9 different things. I am 50% sc for major depression and panic attacks and have a claim in for IU to go up on that. I also had back and neck injuries in service and filed a claim on those. My main question is how do I find out what I am disabled for.

Thank you all so much

Kris

You have got to feel proud for helping so many veterans.

Berta;

I filed for IU back in april. I went to my local SSD office and they type a short letter that I could give to the VA. The letter says primary diagnosis of mutilevel cervical disc bulges, and secondary diagnosis of depressive disorder. I am sc for panic attacks and major depression.

Will this letter do for depressive disorder.

Thank you

I hope the VA considers it that way Kris- this is the problem when SSA awards for both SC and NSC conditions-

but you stated:

"I also had back and neck injuries in service and filed a claim on those" -if there is documentation in your SMrs on this -that is good too due to the SSA award.
