HadIt.com Elder Pete53 Posted December 2, 2007 HadIt.com Elder Share Posted December 2, 2007 Yesterday I got my prescription for Losartan a substitute for the Lisonopril I am taking. The instructions for taking on the bottle are completely bogus take one-half tablet by mouth every day for nephropathy. So I looked it up and it is for end stage renal failure and I thought it was to lower my blood pressure. Oh well if I remember I guess I will ask my Doc in 4 months. HadIt.com Elder jbasser Posted December 5, 2007 HadIt.com Elder Share Posted December 5, 2007 Losartan is geberic for Cozzar. It is also used as a BP medicine. I was on it after lisonipril quit working for me. I had to switch to a higher dose of Lisonipril. (40mg) and add metropolol, norvasc. A Veteran is a person who served this country. Treat them with respect. A Disabled Veteran is a person who served this country and bears the scars of that service regardless of when or where they served. Treat them with the upmost respect. I do. Rejection is not a sign of failure. Failure is not an option, Medical opinions and evidence wins claims. Trust in others is a virtue but you take the T out of Trust and you are left with Rust so be wise about who you are dealing with.
