T-bird,

My daughter is Bio-Polar and she tried the Chantix without success.

I have tried countless time to quit smoking and I am sorry to say, I

was running out the door, couldn't breathe and doing the same thing

that you are about to do.

I did smoke the butts I dug out of the garbage.

I wish you more sucess than I have had.

I don't want to discourage you in anyway. I just wanted to be honest

with my post.

Always,

Betty

thanks betty that's exactly what i wanted just honest experience, at least if i slip and smoke on these it won't overdose me on a nicotine. i just read the pamphlet again, and i will keep trying, saw my therapist today and she said perhaps so soon after my best friends death, it maybe just a little to much for me, but i will try and if need to try again and again, as long as i'm trying i feel that's a success in itself.

T-bird,

You are correct, as long as your are trying, you are being successful.

Be easy on yourself. Sometimes we expect too much of ourself and then

we fill like we are a failure.

Do what you have to do. I just wanted to be completely honest with

you.

Always,

Betty
