This should have never happened in the first place and the VA knows it. The RO who denied the claim should be fired. There are no excuses for this outrageous denial. I am happy to see the Vet get his due, But I am sure he has suffered needlessly while waiting.

A Veteran is a person who served this country. Treat them with respect.

A Disabled Veteran is a person who served this country and bears the scars of that service regardless of when or where they served.

Treat them with the upmost respect. I do. Rejection is not a sign of failure. Failure is not an option, Medical opinions and evidence wins claims. Trust in others is a virtue but you take the T out of Trust and you are left with Rust so be wise about who you are dealing with.

Lawyers are already making a difference. Willie would still be waiting if he had not seen the lawyers.

Veterans deserve real choice for their health care.

Yes- my interview of the attorney for Project Salute on Feb 20th at SVR was VERY compelling and hopefully will be in their archives soon.

I am trying to contact lawyers in southern tier NY who would be willing to help them pro bono-

they need more lawyers willing to help veterans -they are already overwhelmed!

they are going to need more mobile vans soon too-

they also have found their is some animosity in the vet org reps they contact in order to have a facility with parking for the Van-

they can work directly with any vet rep org on a claim as well as obtain the veteran's POA-

this program is not set up to put vet reps out of business at all

(which in my own opinion-would be a great thing!)

and it is Pro bono- and these lawyers make no money at all doing this-

(and yet vet reps get well paid)

I salute Project Salute-
