Question

I went to the VA dental clinic in Hampton and they fixed a broken tooth and did a root canal, just yesterday this tooth cracked in half, although I had no pain due to the root canal I was denied dental care on the tooth that they originally fixed and this happened in under a month. I asked them to quote me the regulation and all I received was a quote of emergency services only. Does anybody have anything to the contrary?

The VA should fix it if it went bad within one month. This is just general medical ethics. Push it to the medical director's office. Make a damn pest of yourself until they agree to fix it.

If you are in Voc Rehab the VA will do all the Dental work that you need. If its an emergency they will work on you. Any Vet can get emergency dental work.

I personally feel that VA should give dental treatment to all Veterans with honorable service.

Veterans deserve real choice for their health care.

If you have pain in that tooth then it is an emergency.

Excerpt from the 'Declaration of Independence'

We have appealed to their native justice and magnanimity, and we have conjured them by the ties of our common kindred to disavow these usurpations, which, would inevitably interrupt our connections and correspondence. They too have been deaf to the voice of justice and of consanguinity
