Calling All OEF–OIF Veterans

VA is contacting nearly 570,000 recent combat veterans to ensure they know about the department’s medical services and other benefits. To demonstrate VA’s commitment to reaching every Operation Enduring Freedom (OEF) and Operation Iraqi Freedom (OIF) veteran, Secretary James B. Peake, left, helped launch the telephone call–out initiative himself. “We will reach out and touch every OEF and OIF veteran to let them know we are here for them,” said Peake. “VA is committed to getting these veterans the help they need and deserve.” (more)

I am writing my memoirs and would love it if you could help a shipmate out and look at it.

I've had a few challenges, perhaps the same as you. I relate them here to demonstrate that we can learn, overcome, and find purpose in life.

The stories can be harrowing to read; they were challenging to live. Remember that each story taught me something I would need once I found my purpose, and my purpose was and is HadIt.com Veterans.

I have always said, I never want another veteran to experience

what I have. I pray this will work out for them.

This is only my opinion.

Wishing all the Best!

There is quite a broohaha in many other vet communities over this-it seems to be devisive suggesting that the "old" vets can wallow in the backlog but the "new vets" might get better service.

This came on the heels of the VA's attempt to cover up the suicide rates in new combat veterans.

Both Larry Scott (VA Watchdog) and David Gorman Exec Director of the DAV- have seen through this latest spin:

GRADUATE ! Nov 2nd 2007 American Military University !

When thousands of Americans faced annihilation in the 1800s Chief

Osceola's response to his people, the Seminoles, was

simply "They(the US Army)have guns, but so do we."

Sameo to us -They (VA) have 38 CFR ,38 USC, and M21-1- but so do we.
