Question

Hi all,

I am having a bad day. Terrible nose bleed Thursday night. Nose packed and packed. Broke loose again Friday, back to hospital to be admitted.

Released yesterday with this bullet type thing trying to stop the bleeding

Going back Monday to have removed and hoping all will hold.

I need some help, for the bullet is so large in my nostril, tears are

rolling down my right eye.

This is in answer again to the Service Manager about the May 28, 2008 form date stamped and turned in at the Roanoke R. O to send to Hunginton.

Response (Department of Veterans Affairs) 06/27/2008 12:01 PM

Ms.

In response to your inquiry from June 22, 2008, the following issues are being addressed:

1) As we stated in our previous response, we will process your claim for Individual Unemployability when we receive the VA Form 21-8940 from the Roanoke VA Regional Office. As of this date, we have not received the form.

2) We are currently processing your claim for dependency and your claim for an increase to service connected compensation for Chronic Anxiety with Depression.

I have not filed a NOD on the 70 % decision, what does he mean they are working on.

3) Your appeal for headaches is being reviewed and our Appeals Team will notify you of the status upon completion of their review.

Remember the Service Manager wrote and told me that I received a denial for headaches July 13, 2004.

Thank you for contacting us. If you have questions or need additional help with the information in our reply, please respond to this message or see our other contact information below.

Thanks

Betty

Betty,

What did the doc have to say?

I hope you're feeling better.

Keep us posted on the progress of your claim. I am hoping that they are going to grant the headaches and IU. By this point, 44 years after discharge, they have to have figured out you aren't going anywhere!!!!

Thanks,

TS Snave

Tom,

I went back this Morning to the EENT Doctor to remove that bullet of

a thing out of the right nostril.

Boy that thing hurt for 4 days, till tears ran out of my eyes.

All my blood work was fine and so was my blood pressure.

Hope it never happens again.

I guess just too many headaches caused it. Don't have an answer to it.

I hope the VA gets their act together soon on my claim.

Everything is date stamped, even the headache claim.

Thanks,

Betty

You really whipped the VA's ass. You are an inspiration to those fighting old claims. I tell you I did doubt that it could be done, but you showed different. I have a hearing on Thursday regarding a much earlier effective date for my TDIU. Even if I get part of what I am asking for it will mean big bucks. If I win the CUE I will go back and fight the Army again over my discharge since they knew they were discharging a sick man.

John,

I bet you will be posting shortly that you have received an earlier

effective date on your TDIU. Half of the bucks is a beginning.

I also bet you will win your claim on your

bogus discharge just as I did.

They knew you were ill when they discharged you the way they did, they

just didn't want to pay you.

Now it is pay back time.

You taught me how to do this John, so I know you can do it.

Good Luck to you,

My " Dear friend",

Betty
