HadIt.com Elder john999 Posted August 30, 2008 HadIt.com Elder Share Posted August 30, 2008 That is a good question since many anti-depressants inhibit sexual funtioning without affecting ability to get an erection. All the SSRI uptake inhibitors like Prozac react with sexual functioning. I, myself, thing that you should be able to get SMC for loss of use if you are taking drugs that affect sexual functioning. The only real way to find out is to file a claim.

otey2171
I know what you are saying, between depressiong with a gaf of 35 to 40 and "multiple sclerosis" my memory and the inability to search for something is like climbing up Mount Everest for the simplest of things The next time someone asks a question on Hadit, please don't assume they have the ability to search for the answer. Just be kind a help. ROD
Berta
http://www.va.gov/vetapp07/files4/0736452.txt this case might - I would definitly file the claim- the "K" award for ED is usually beased on "deformity of penis" meaning the penis bends and prevents intercourse- but still I agree that this might be a compensable disability that-if due to SC or a SC med- should be SCed. If you search the BVA under "inability to ejaculate" there are many claims there. GRADUATE ! Nov 2nd 2007 American Military University ! When thousands of Americans faced annihilation in the 1800s Chief Osceola's response to his people, the Seminoles, was simply "They(the US Army)have guns, but so do we." Sameo to us -They (VA) have 38 CFR ,38 USC, and M21-1- but so do we.
