Diagnosis

Question

What constitutes a diagnosis for the VA?

When I count my blessings I count my family and friends twice.

If you don't know where you are going, any road will get you there.

Well done is better than well said.

Right, you need a diagnosis to win with the VA. I had symptoms of DmII and PN but no diagnosis. The VA just flited around the DMII diagnosis saying pre-diabetes and glucose intolerance. Finally, I got a C&P exam that diagnosed DMII. Based on that I got the PN connected as secondary. As we have said many times the VA will not connect the dots on their own without a medical opinion. The guy who rates you is not a doctor or a lawyer. He just reads the claim and looks at the evidence (you hope) and goes by the numbers.

I am going out on a limb and say the condition is in your cfile and it may be considered inferred.

The only to really see it is to get a complete copy.

A Veteran is a person who served this country. Treat them with respect.

A Disabled Veteran is a person who served this country and bears the scars of that service regardless of when or where they served.

Treat them with the upmost respect. I do. Rejection is not a sign of failure. Failure is not an option, Medical opinions and evidence wins claims. Trust in others is a virtue but you take the T out of Trust and you are left with Rust so be wise about who you are dealing with.
