purple
TENS is great. My chiropractor uses that on my neck...he also sells them for $99.
HadIt.com Elder rentalguy1 Posted December 12, 2008 HadIt.com Elder Share Posted December 12, 2008 The physical therapy department at the VAMC will issue you a TENS unit for a sc'd condition. No need to pay for one if you don't need. I didn't have any luck with a TENS. It only served to give me a new set of problems B)

JON
I have been using a TENS since 1985-in fact still have the original unit. It has 4 wire for 2 pads. It took me about 6 months to find exactly the spot to place the pads. I get great relief. The last few years, I have only had to use it as needed. I found that experimenting with different patches (ie disposable, reusable, pADS WHERE YOU CHANGE ONLY THE GLUE). Keep trying-I can't say enough about finding the right spots. When I found the right spots in mine I got dressed and suited up with pads in only 5 minutes more. Good luck. If you find they don't work well enough to get relief, try some other kind of remidy.
