HadIt.com Elder cowgirl Posted January 13, 2009 HadIt.com Elder Share Posted January 13, 2009 Thanks Lady ~ Commander Bob ~ let me add that the Jabberwocky fits the slow, slothy and syntax language of the VA. Jabberwocky by Lewis Carroll (great nonsense!) Did gyre and gimble in the wabe; All mimsy were the borogoves, And the mome raths outgrabe. "Beware the Jabberwock, my son! The jaws that bite, the claws that catch! Beware the Jubjub bird, and shun The frumious Bandersnatch!" He took his vorpal sword in hand: Long time the manxome foe he sought— So rested he by the Tumtum tree, And stood awhile in thought. And as in uffish thought he stood, The Jabberwock, with eyes of flame, Came whiffling through the tulgey wood, And burbled as it came! One, two! One, two! and through and through The vorpal blade went snicker-snack! He left it dead, and with its head He went galumphing back. "And hast thou slain the Jabberwock? Come to my arms, my beamish boy! O frabjous day! Callooh! Callay!" He chortled in his joy. 'Twas brillig, and the slithy toves Did gyre and gimble in the wabe; All mimsy were the borogoves, And the mome raths outgrabe For my children, my God sent husband and my Hadit family of veterans, I carry on. God Bless A m e r i c a, Her Veterans and their Families!

I asked my teen daughter to read this one to me, and she said they did a skit to this one in class, and acted out the motions of a jabberwocky; flapping her arms and walking to and fro lol! I liked both poems today, thanks, this was a nice break from the stress and pain. ~Wings USAF 1980-1986, 70% SC PTSD, 100% TDIU (P&T)
ladypoetry85
Where did they bury the body? They didnt bury the body! They just shredded it and sold it back to the guverment to be recyled into paper. Who in turn sent some of the paper to the tresuary department to make new money and the rest they sold to Charman to make toilet paper.
