Question

:D I am a retired Gulf War Vet. In 1996 I had to fight with V.A. two years for 40%.

20% for right arm pain and weakness. Now arm has unexplained moderate to severe twitch. I am right handed. V.A. never gave me a full explanation about the arm. I have been under Neuro. Dr care last year, he says twitch is unexplained. In 1998 I got Voc.

Rehab. four years of college to be a teacher now can't even write my own name sometimes. My lower back is rated at 10% but now my right leg is going numb. Neuro. Dr. says this maybe because of lower back not sure. The last year I have been tested and retested for everything . All of my doctors say they do not know what is causing this. Could be maybe? My left leg is rated at 10% because of scar tissue. Any suggestions?

Thanks Pete I am trying to think of everything they may try since i had to fight with them for two years before. I am trying to review my med records from service, and my Drs. notes, so if they try and say different things I can show them what is service connected and what i had in service. I also have my c-file.

Pete53,

Would it be a good idea to ask the c/p examiner where I can get a copy of the c/p exam that I am going to have on 5 June, would this make them cautious or just mad. I just want to get this done fair.

Art:

If they do the C&P at the VAMC you normally go to just go back in a couple of weeks and ask for a copy. No reason to tell the examiner that you are going to get a copy.

The reason that people on Hadit recommend that you get a copy is to prepare for what is coming.

Good Luck

Thanks Pete

June 5th when my ortho c/p is on a Saturday and one person told me the ortho drs. were all interns, and that about 100 vets were to be seen that day. But i am hoping for the best.

Sent VA Regional office copies of Army Med. records that state possible fibromyalgia 1995, Right arm going to sleep as well. Is this clear SC connection or could the VA say otherwise?
