VA is seeking public comments on the draft written report before final publication. The public notice will be posted at www.Regulations. gov, and the draft written report will be open for comment for thirty (30) days. Comments may also be submitted via mail as described in the public notice. In addition, VA recognizes that a great number of Gulf War Veterans use a computer on a daily basis to socialize their issues and concerns, so VA has also created a public discussion board on the seven recommendations at: http://yourgulfwarv oice.uservoice. com/.

the VA is admitting that MANY veterans use the internet these days to communicate with the VA and each other at places like Hadit so they are opening a discussion board on the subject of the Gulf War Issues

I applaud them for this welcome to the 21st century VBA

Try as they may they will never come up with something as good as hadit.com. The reason being hadit.com gets to the truth ,through its members who have been there ,done that.

And if something new comes up will pick it apart with a fine tooth comb until they have done that too.

Okay you guys know more than me but I was just concerned that since they know we are using the internet what else do they know. Testvet you are right it is great that they acknowledge that we are using this for informational purposes I just hope that this is really a plus for all vets. If I don't know what I'm talking about tell me to shutup, no harm, no foul. I picked the wrong word I should keep it simple(for me) I should have said checking upon us and as e says quit using big words. Sorry, Carolyn

this is the first time that I know of that they have had a discussion board on an ongoing topic that will affect hundreds of thousands of veterans so it is a good first start if they "listen"

I sincerely apologize to you all, carlie when you asked what am I talking about I sure as hell did not know! My face is red and I have egg on my face!!! I will never embarass myself like this again. You should not be embarrassed for asking a question or giving an opinion on Hadit. We are all here to learn and if you don't ask how will you ever even have a clue

Participation on any thread on Hadit is good. I think that when you ask a question or have an opinion its best to share information to help Members think and respond. Many times a question generates more questions

Berta and I used to be Members of a Veterans Community that had a Board for VA disability questions and sometimes a simple question would sit for days before a response was given. On Hadit sometimes just minutes or an hour or two and if you don't get an answer fell free to restate your question.

I commend you for your participation.

I had a drill sergeant teach me decades and decades ago the only "dumb" question is the one you don't ask and you assume you know the answer and it leads to someone making a ass out of you or me so always ask questions if you don't know the answer none of us know the answers to everything ask.com we are not
