Rate this question

Question

Hello....

I got a respond from the IRIS...

"After review of your files, we see that your claim has progressed to "Pending Authorization" as of April 2, 2010."

Would anyone know how long this takes? :D I am ready to pay off my medical bills...

Thanks

Marti

Soon but depends on how big it is.

Veterans deserve real choice for their health care.

Not very much longer. Do you have a VSO? If you do call them to see if they have seen the decision.

A Veteran is a person who served this country. Treat them with respect.

A Disabled Veteran is a person who served this country and bears the scars of that service regardless of when or where they served.

Treat them with the upmost respect. I do. Rejection is not a sign of failure. Failure is not an option, Medical opinions and evidence wins claims. Trust in others is a virtue but you take the T out of Trust and you are left with Rust so be wise about who you are dealing with.

Marti,

If you are now SC'd for ALS and your medical bills are for ALS, I personally

would try to get VA to accept responsibility for the medical bills as I think

you may have a good shot at them paying.

If you don't try then you will never know.

I tried to find out from the PVA.. He told me wait until you get the rating decision.

Law says until you get the rating it is not allowed to be discussed..

I thought they already had a decision? Now I am really confused!

even denials have to be "approved" don't be counting on a check only yto get your feelings hurt be prepared for it to go either way a denial or an award letter I have seen a lot of people made when they get that denial letter after waiting on "authorizations" I do hope you get the check just know that it can go the other way and don't spend it before you get it
