Papa
John make sure you take care of yourself. About two years ago I got a Staph Infection on my left knee about two weeks afgter I had surgery on the same knee. Once, I arrived at the Emerency room (not VA) the doctor slit it to relieve the pain and burning. As soon as he slit it and all that yucky stuff came out, it swelled up again immediately. I was in the hospital for over three weeks. My knee is still not right, so please take care. Hope you feel better soon. Papa
Bill (USAF Retired)
When you're all better, it might behoove you to chat with an attorney about a Federal Tort Claims Act claim regarding potential misdiagnosis by the podiatrist. For now, concentrate on getting better. Glad you're back on the radar!

akwidow
My best to you too. My daughter fought MRSA for years before she was able to get it out. She thinks she got it from a dirty tanning bed...of course I had already told my girls to stay out of those tanning beds as they are cancer incubators... Try to enjoy the TLC you should be receiving, AkWidow
