Sidney56
I have been trying to access the C&P section on ebenefits site for a few days, however it says that I need a premium acct to access that section. I have my login for myhealthevet and Deers and can access these sites without any problems. I have my DS login also. I can log into ebenefits, I just can't access the sections for status of claims. I have already done the in person authentication at my vamc. I finally called the number listed on the site for help today, and was told, she didn't understand why I couldn't access the information because I had all the necessary log in details. She said she would escalate the problem up to her supervision and someone would be in touch with me in a few days. Yea, right! I think she forgot that I have been dealing with the VA for years and that a few days actually means weeks or months. I know I will probably get help here before I receive any help from them. Has anyone had this problem with the site? I know they are steady tweaking the site, but I also know that others are accessing the information from here at hadit. Any suggestions? retiredat44
the e-benefit website is a POS, worthless crap thing does not work period. I went to the VA 2x and they were clueless.. I gave up... it's all BS! and the people at the VA are clueless as far as the VA websites.. Not in appeals, since I got 100%, and some of it was winning an 1151 negligence, which the VA turns out does not give ful benefits if you win 1151 negligence they squirm and legal loophhole you and your family out of many benefits, really crapp nasty bunch running the va benefits, they wil backstab and scre wyou even if you win you lose. I gave up... it's all BS! and the people at the VA are clueless as far as the VA websites.. I agree with you on the point that the personnel do not understand their own website. I have built several websites and I never launch them until I have tested them many times. I can't believe that the gov. would release a site that they have no idea how it works. Evidently it was contracted out and the programmer had no in house training system set up for the employees that would be trouble shooting the system. I say again, "Shame on YOU, VA!" justrluk
I'm in the same boat. Had high hopes for actually being able to see actions/movement on issues through the site as advertised, but when fed by what seems to be a manual interface on the VA side, it falls far short of the promises. Disappointing, really. It looks like some VAROs keep theirs up to date, while others ignore it all together. No standard work what so ever. Limbo is status quo for the VARO. Well at least you and others are able to access the information, or lack there of. I can't seem to get to the information because I need a premium account, although I have been authenticated. Seems to be a programming bug to me. That is why I stated that the source code was not thoroughly tested(debugged). I would never release a site that was in developmental stages that thousands of patients depended on.
Question
Sidney56
I have been trying to access the C&P section on ebenefits site
for a few days, however it says that I need a premium acct
to access that section.
I have my login for myhealthevet and Deers and can access these
sites without any problems. I have my DS login also. I can
log into ebenefits, I just can't access the sections for status
of claims.
I have already done the in person authentication at my vamc.
I finally called the number listed on the site for help today, and
was told, she didn't understand why I couldn't access the information
because I had all the necessary log in details. She said she would
escalate the problem up to her supervision and someone would be in
touch with me in a few days. Yea, right! I think she forgot that I
have been dealing with the VA for years and that a few days actually
means weeks or months.
I know I will probably get help here before I receive any help from
them. Has anyone had this problem with the site? I know they are
steady tweaking the site, but I also know that others are accessing
the information from here at hadit.
Any suggestions?
