HadIt.com Elder Chuck75 Posted September 6, 2010 HadIt.com Elder Share Posted September 6, 2010 If nothing else, look at Military.com, join, and examine the discounts. At one time 100% disabled veterans and retirees could rent cars through MWR at a military base. Don't know if that's still the case. I also don't know what impact a foreign drivers license might have. She just told me that she has us a car rented for a week in Las Vegas. $80 bucks for the entire week. Edited September 6, 2010 by LarryJ "It is cold and we have no blankets. I want to have time to look for my children and see how many of them I can find. Maybe I shall find them among the dead. Hear me, my chiefs! I am tired; my heart is sick and sad. HadIt.com Elder Pete53 Posted September 7, 2010 HadIt.com Elder Share Posted September 7, 2010 Sometimes the Military ID Card 100% Vets offer fabulous discounts. At any major airport there are local companies that rent cars at much cheaper rates than the big companies. Most people with auto insurance can use it on rent cars and save on the insurance option Try these guys Veterans deserve real choice for their health care.
