HadIt.com Elder allan Posted October 4, 2010 HadIt.com Elder Share Posted October 4, 2010 If he has enough earned credits over the last 5 yrs worked than he should file for SSDI. He can call Social security and get an earnings record printout to find out if he qualifies. Notorious Kelly
Absolutely, Maurice. If he has Individual Unemployability be sure to include that letter and any doctor's letters stating why he can't work. And try to do more preparation or get a lawyer. JON
Instead of re-applying all the time, try appealing. My suggestion-an attorney or agency that helps such as Allsup. You have to pay an attorney if you win anyway. It's well worth the headache especially if they do all the paperwork and get all the necessary documentation. HadIt.com Elder LarryJ Posted October 4, 2010 HadIt.com Elder Share Posted October 4, 2010 Hello Veterans Friends, Should a UI disable Veteran applied for SSDI for the 3th times? He 55 year old veteran that can't work and could help take care of his wife and himself. WHY was he denied the first two times? The answer to that question should be the answer to the question that you just asked, Maurice. If you can overcome the first two denials, then for sure file again. Just don't keep beating on a dead horse! "It is cold and we have no blankets. The little children are freezing to death. My people, some of them, have run away to the hills, and have no blankets, no food; no one knows where they are-perhaps freezing to death. I want to have time to look for my children and see how many of them I can find. Maybe I shall find them among the dead. Hear me, my chiefs! I am tired; my heart is sick and sad. From where the sun now stands, I will fight no more forever." Chief Joseph
