HadIt.com Elder LarryJ Posted October 15, 2010 Author HadIt.com Elder Share Posted October 15, 2010 Larry, My Neighbors have had this goat for several months, and is good and fat , ready for the pit. But, their darn kids (no pun intended) have made a pet out of it. BTW, Wonderful job. Papa Had this friend of mine, had a place in the country, decided that a goat would be the ideal thing to kinda "keep the weeds down". Now, he was a city boy, never had any livestock, especially a goat. The goat didn't last very long. Seems the wife didn't appreciate the fact that goats are agile and prone to jumping, kinda like their first cousins, the Mountain Goat. Anyway, she said that that darn goat did NOT, I repeat DID NOT look good as a hood ornament on her new BEEMER! And, no, I do not "really" BBQ goats, not even my neighbor's, and I did not contribute to the pre-mature death of the Beemer Goat. And, thank you for the "attaboy" Papa! "It is cold and we have no blankets. The little children are freezing to death. My people, some of them, have run away to the hills, and have no blankets, no food; no one knows where they are-perhaps freezing to death. I want to have time to look for my children and see how many of them I can find. Maybe I shall find them among the dead. Hear me, my chiefs! I am tired; my heart is sick and sad. From where the sun now stands, I will fight no more forever." Chief Joseph
