Congrats.

My intentions are to help, my advice maybe wrong, be your own advocate and know what is in your C-File and the 38 CFR that governs your disabilities and conditions.

Do your own homework. No one knows the veteran’s symptoms like the veteran. Never Give Up.

I do not give my consent for anyone to view my personal VA records.

Just got my award letter 100% +SMC +Car mod Grant +House mod Grant. Completely and Totally disabled...

What now where do I get the ID cards and Sign up for CHAMPVA?

GOT IT ALLL! Everything approved!

Champ VA: http://www4.va.gov/vaforms/medical/pdf/vha-10-10d-fill.pdf

MWR card or form 2765

This needs to go to the nearest installation that has an ID card issuing machine for DEERs.

One needs to be filled out for each person who is getting one.

A Veteran is a person who served this country. Treat them with respect.

A Disabled Veteran is a person who served this country and bears the scars of that service regardless of when or where they served.

Treat them with the upmost respect. I do. Rejection is not a sign of failure. Failure is not an option, Medical opinions and evidence wins claims. Trust in others is a virtue but you take the T out of Trust and you are left with Rust so be wise about who you are dealing with.

Congratulations!

Regarding the ID cards, if you are not near a base, check this page and locate the nearest one by zip code. I recommend calling them first. Two of the ones near me were not actively doing IDs.

You may also want to ask them for what all the necessary documents, that you and your family need to bring before going to make sure you have every thing you need.

Congratulations Jason! It's so good to be reading so many success stories lately.

As I've mentioned to others, if you haven't already done so, check for your state benefits too.
